Movement and recovery

At Horizon 65, we support you with muscle, joint and nerve complaints, after surgery, with sports injuries or when moving temporarily becomes more difficult. Our approach is personal and focuses on recovery, stability, strength and confidence in movement.

Treatment starts with a thorough assessment of your complaints and goals. We then put together a care plan combining manual therapy, exercise therapy and functional training, so that step by step you can move more freely and get back to your daily activities.

Our services

General physiotherapy

We support you with pain, reduced mobility and recovery after injury or surgery. Together we work step by step towards moving better in everyday life.

Back school based on the CORE principle

We treat chronic lower back pain using our own CORE principle. You learn to move ergonomically, in a controlled way and freely, and build resilience and strength from there.

More about the CORE programme

Orofacial therapy

Orofacial therapy helps with complaints of the jaw, face, head and neck. It can be useful for jaw pain, teeth grinding, headaches or tension in the chewing muscles.

Vestibular rehabilitation

With balance problems, dizziness or complaints after a disturbance of the balance system, we work on stability and confidence in movement. Treatment aims to reduce complaints and improve safety in everyday life.

Manual therapy

Using manual techniques, we improve joint mobility and reduce pain or stiffness. This approach can be useful for back, neck and other joint complaints.

Dry needling

Dry needling can help with muscle pain, trigger points and tight muscles. Using a fine needle, we treat specific muscle knots to reduce pain and restricted movement.

Sports physiotherapy

We support athletes with injuries, overuse and rehabilitation after a sports injury. The aim is a safe and efficient return to sport and activity.

Perinatal physiotherapy

During and after pregnancy, we support the body through the many changes of this period. We work on posture, breathing, the pelvis and the core, with attention to comfort and recovery.

Pelvic floor rehabilitation

This helps you to correctly contract and relax the pelvic floor muscles, for women, men and children. It can be useful for bladder, bowel or sexual complaints, such as urine leakage, pain during intercourse or recovery after pregnancy or a caesarean section.

Respiratory physiotherapy

With breathing problems, hyperventilation or pulmonary rehabilitation, we support breathing and lung function. The approach is tailored to the complaint and to the patient’s pace.

Lymphatic drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle technique that helps the body drain fluid. It can help with oedema or fluid retention, for example after surgery or with other kinds of swelling.
